| Length: These hood scoops are supplied extra long so that they will fit most any hood. The back of the scoops are easy to trim shorter or trim at an angle to match the shape of the windshield. |
| Mounting: There is a 1/2" to 5/8" wide flange on the outside of the scoop that runs across the front and down both sides for use in mounting. |

| Attachment: These scoops can be riveted, screwed down, welded, or bonded with a metal adhesive to any steel hood. The metal adhesive method is our favorite as it eliminates any chance of warping from welding heat. |
| Fit: These scoops are designed to be installed on relatively flat hoods, such as those found on most 50-60-70's cars and trucks. To use the scoop on a newer-model vehicle, a couple of relief cuts can be made in the side of the scoop, to help the scoop follow the contour of a curved newer-model hood. |
| Finish: The scoops are shipped in bare steel. We purposely do not put any kind of primer or paint on the scoop; this eliminates the chance of a reaction with your brand of paint. |
